Ciara graduated with an honours dental degree from University College Cork in 2013. Following qualification, she then moved to the UK to spend time in practice, winning the restorative case presentation award for newly qualified dentists in London 2014.
Subsequently she undertook a key role in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Northampton General Hospital whilst also achieving the MFDS exam from the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow 2014.
Ciara returned to University College Cork to pursue her dream of becoming an orthodontist. Three years of full time specialist training followed, culminating in obtaining her Doctorate in Orthodontics from University College Cork and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
Ciara is committed to providing the best quality patient care, reflected in her nomination for Sensodyne Sensitive Dentist of the Year 2017 and subsequently being awarded the Seamus Keating award in 2019 for her Orthodontic research.
The most rewarding aspect of orthodontics is the transformation to patients’ smiles and the impact that this has on their confidence. Ciara provides a wide range of brace treatments, which can be tailored to your individual needs.
